A MATTER OF REVERENCE

WHY DO WE EMPHASIZE WORSHIP OF THE LORD?

"You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve." - Matthew 4:10

​"0 come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." - Psalm 95:6

​"Who shall fear you, 0 Lord, and glorify Your Name? For You only are holy; for all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments are made manifest." - Revelation 15:4

HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP THE LORD?

"But the hour comes and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth;

for such people the Father seeks to worship Him. God is spirit and those who worship

Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." - John 4:23, 24

"0 worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth."  - Psalm 96:9

WHY ARE MUSICAL INSRUMENTS & DANCING A PART OF OUR WORSHIP?

"Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the harp and the lyre. Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing, praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals." - Psalm 150:3-5

 

WHY DO WE TEACH WORSHIP AS A LIFESTYLE?

"You are worthy...You have created all things for Your pleasure." - Revelations 4:11

"We are His creation, we are chosen to show forth the praises of Him." - I Peter 2:9

We are the ultimate example of His handiwork, therefore everything we do, say or sing is worship. "Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord." - Psalm 150:6

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever."  - Hebrews 13:8
